Q: Can I buy regular paper instead printer paper for printing use?
A: Having the correct printer paper is essential for getting the most out of your printer. Paper that is too rough will not capture toner evenly. Paper that is too thick will jam your printer. Paper that's been sitting around for a while will have an incorrect moisture balance.
The best thing you can do is to use quality printer paper, specifically designed for your printing job. Printer paper designed for inkjets or laser printers will have the flatness, smoothness, dryness, and absorbency that are required for high-resolution printouts. Printer paper designed for photos will have a glossy finish and high durability.

Q: Why do I need to use cleaning cartridge?
A: A clogged print head is a leading cause of poor print quality. If you are experiencing white lines, fuzzy pictures and words, etc. after one to two of your printer's normal cleaning cycles, you should strongly consider purchasing a cleaning cartridge.
An inkjet cleaning cartridge is an ordinary inkjet cartridge filled with a special inkjet cleaning fluid instead of ink. Inkjet cleaning cartridges use a safe solution of specially formulated solvents and detergents to clean the whole print head quickly and thoroughly.
The use of an inkjet cleaning cartridge will keep your printer printing at peak performance and can extend your printer's life. Reduce printer down-time and servicing costs by always having a set of inkjet cleaning cartridges available in your home and office.

Q: Would the use of refill ink or compatible cartridge void my printer's warranty?
A: No. The manufacturer of the printer you are using cannot void the warranty on your printer because you use a cartridge or refill kit manufactured by someone other than the printer manufacturer. This prohibition includes the use of compatible cartridges, continuous feeding mechanisms, refill kits, ink, etc.

Q: What does OEM mean? What is OEM cartridge?
A: OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. OEMs , such as Apple, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, HP, are the companies that manufacture your printers. OEM cartridges are cartridges that are branded under your OEM's brand.

Q: What does remanufactured cartridge mean?
A: Recycled cartridges that are disassembled and have their worn parts replaced are called remanufactured cartridges.
The current remanufacturing process requires cartridges to be disassembled and inspected to determine any problem areas. Worn components are replaced with new parts, all sections are cleaned, and a fresh supply of toner or inkjet is added before the cartridge is resealed.
High-quality remanufactured cartridges now undergo a process that makes them equivalent in performance, print quality and page yield to new models, and they meet all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards and specifications. Satisfaction is guaranteed on every remanufactured toner cartridge.

Q: What does compatible cartridge mean?
A: Compatible cartridges (replacements) are manufactured by third parties (other than OEMs) and fully compatible with OEMs. The compatible cartridges carried by cdrdvdrmedia are produced by ISO 9001 certified maunfacturer, will be ideal for professional images, photo prints, and quality output.

Q: Do I need a special refillable cartridge to use your refill kits?
A: No. All cartridges are refillable. We recommend having your cartridge refilled before it is completely dried up.

Q: How many times can I refill an inkjet cartridge?
    A: EZ-refill kit: One time.
Other regular refill kits: Between 2 to 5 times. The wide variation depends on a number of factors, such as use of inkjet cartridge (not letting the cartridge run out of ink before refilling), printer paper used (low quality papers causes the electric contacts on the print head to wear out).

Q: Can I use the same ink for different cartridges?
    A: In most cases, No.

Q: What is the shelf life of your products?
A: Our cartridge's shelf life is as the same as the Original Equipment Manufacturer, usually 12-24 months for the OEM and remanufactured cartridges and about 24-36 months for the generic cartridges and refill kits.

Q: How do I install a new cartridge I bought from you?
A: Always follow the printer manufacturer's guidelines for installing new cartridges. Our cartridges are made to follow the specifications of the original equipment manufacturer, so they will install exactly the same way.

Q: When I install your cartridge, there is a Pop-up window which says “This is not OEM cartridge…”, what can I do?
A: Please ignore that message and continue to install.

Q: I installed your ink cartridge, but my printer does not recognize it. What should I do?
A: First, please never touch the chip (if only) in the cartridge. Please check if your ink has been installed correctly and the chip has firm contact with your printer. You may need uninstall and reinstall it. If that cannot fix your problem, please contact our customer service Rep.

Q: After I have used your cartridges for a while, the print quality becomes not as good as before, what can I do?
A: Please use cleaning cartridge to clean the print head. It will improve the print quality.
